MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minneapolis police are asking for the public's help in finding five young girls who apparently ran away together.
The girls are ages 11 to 13. Police say the girls went missing after school on Monday.
Police don't believe the girls have left Minnesota.
Minneapolis police spokeswoman Cyndi Barrington tells the Star Tribune (http://bit.ly/19VMgcC ) investigators have spoken to the girls' parents.
Barrington says police searched all day for the girls without finding them. That prompted the public appeal.
