Three members of the Buccaneer team turned in scores lower than the best score carded by any of the Saints.
Allie Curtis was the medalist, coming in with a 46 for the nine hole contest.
Autumn Drake was right behind, carding a 51. Natali Fellows followed with a 63, and Emily Davids and Kali Viland tied for the fourth spot with identical 66 scores.
BEA’s team total was 226.
Aeli Olson was not too far off the rest with a 69.
For St. James, Kali Wright was low scorer with a 65. Lindsey Haler shot a 69, Rachel Kircher a 71 and Lupe Alanguer a 72.
The Saints team total score was 277.
The meet was played on a chilly Riverside Town and Country Golf Club course, for the Bucs home opener.
Up next for BEA is a meet in New Ulm on Monday and one in St. Peter on Tuesday.
The Bucs will host the Rebels of USC on Friday.
