Winnebago Elaine J. Doolittle, age 65, of Winnebago, died Monday, June 18, 2012, at St. Luke's Lutheran Care Center.
Funeral Services were held June 22, 2012, at United Methodist Church in Winnebago. The Rev. Durene Cornell officiated. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Winnebago, at a later date.
She was born on Jan. 7, 1947, to Arend and Gladys (Meinjohans) Honken. Elaine was the Homecoming Queen 1964-1965 for Huntley High School and graduated in 1965. On Aug. 17, 1968, she married Michael Doolittle at the United Methodist Church in Winnebago. She enjoyed coffee with lots of creamer, reuben sandwiches, bowling, volleyball in the church league, baseball, solitaire, scrabble, hand-foot card game, and traveling with her sisters. Elaine worked at the Huntley Caf, and as a secretary for the City of Winnebago at City Hall. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her spouse, Michael Doolittle, of Winnebago; children, Sandy (Adam) Kelch, of Savage, Chris (Jess) Doolittle, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., and Dawn Doolittle, of Fairmont; brother, Roger (Mary) Honken, of Fremont, Neb.; sisters, Diane Ogle, of Lincoln, Neb., and Loretta (Robert) Hanson, of Lincoln; five grandchildren, Brendin Doolittle, Adriana Doolittle, Jadyn Kelch, Rayna Kelch, Kennedy Kelch, and three step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jodi; son, Jason; parents; and sister, Carolyn Ogle.
