Mapleton Patricia Ann Johnson, age 77, died Sunday, Oct. 7, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems-Mankato, and her husband, Forrest Yale Johnson, age 83, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at the Mapleton Community Home in Mapleton. A double Memorial Service was held Oct. 13, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Mapleton. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the church. The Rev. Tim Biren officiated and burial took place in Lura Cemetery in Lura Township, Faribault County. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells was in charge of arrangements.
Patricia Ann was born Dec. 13, 1934, the daughter of Frank and Regina (Brady) Nowicki in Blue Earth.
Forrest Yale Johnson was born July 24, 1929, the son of Yale and Agnes (Davis) Johnson, also in Blue Earth.
The couple is survived by their children, Mike (Marlene) Johnson, of Fairmont, Brian Johnson, of Winnebago, Doug (LaNay) Johnson, of North Mankato, Patti (Ken) Stolz, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and Pam (Mark) Braunshausen, of Easton; 16 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Pat's siblings, Kay Beyer, of Minnesota Lake, Jayne (Harry) Albrecht, of Minneapolis, John Nowicki, of Nashville, Tenn., and Rosie Nowicki, of Minneapolis. Forrest's siblings, Ellen (Maynard) Johnson, of Storden, and Dwight (Ruth) Johnson, of Winnebago.
