4. Accepted resignation of Geary Wells as Chief Jailer effective July 19, 2013 and to advertise in-house for a replacement.

5. Approved subordinating a loan to First Bank of Blue Earth on an SSTS loan to Steven and Amanda Hansen.

6. A public hearing was held on the pipeline ordinance.

7. Motion to adopt the pipeline ordinance as presented failed.

8. Amended the ordinance by adding the definition of “dwelling”.

9. Approved Resolution 13-PZ02-04 adopting the Faribault County pipeline ordinance as amended. The purpose of this pipeline ordinance shall be to set forth a process to allow for the permitting of pipelines, as defined herein, which will discharge into protected waters, to assure the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of Faribault County. This ordinance does not apply to pipelines regulated under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 216G, Private Ag. Drainage or Public Ag. Drainage Systems under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 103E. Commissioners Groskreutz, Loveall, Roper, Warmka, and Young voted yes.

13. Set Board of Equalization meeting to June 18, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. and set the June 18, 2013 regular board meeting start time to 3:00 p.m.

14. Approved requests from D. Babcock to attend a one-day bituminous plant monitor training in Mankato; S. Dulac and J. Christenson to attend a three-day MN Alcohol Traffic Safety Assoc. conference in St. Cloud.
