The Bucs had an early 7-0 lead when Caleb Beeler won a 3-0 decision over Boden Simon at 106 pounds, and Davis Sunken notched a 13-2 major decision over Ethan Evenson at 113.

After BEA's Jack Frundt lost by a pin at 120 pounds and Max Ehrich won by a forfeit at 126, the Bucs lead was 13-6.

The Eagles came back with a win by a pin at 132 pounds, and the score was 13-12.

Joe Schavey took a 3-1 win over Cody Walters at 138 pounds to get BEA ahead 16-12, but the Eagles won the next two matches to go up 22-12.

The Bucs got two more wins, both pins, but the Eagles won five of the final matches.

Zach Buseman pinned Bryan Garlow at 160 pounds and Isaac Martinez pinned Logan Ziegler at 195.

After starting off as a close match, the Eagles came out with convincing 43-28 win.

Against Lake Mills, the Buccaneers came out with five wins, but gave up nine losses, and eight of those were six point pins.

BEA had a brief lead when Caleb Beeler started the match off by pinning his 106 pound opponent, Jack Ramaker.

After Lake Mills came back and won the next two matches, Max Ehrich took a 7-3 decision over Alex Martinson at 126 pounds to tie the match at 9-9. Joe Schavey scored a major decision at 138 pounds over Asten Love, and Jaxen Klinkner took a close 13-11 win at 152 over Alex Albert, then Zach Buseman won 4-2 over Elijah Wagner at 160.

That all made the match very close, with Lake Mills having just a 21-19 lead over the Buccaneers.

Unfortunately, Lake Mills scored a pin in every one of the last five matches to make the final score 50-19.

After weekend action BEA will be at New Ulm on Thursday this week.
