Patricia More, 80

December 17, 2017
Faribault County Register

Glencoe Patricia "Pat" More (ne McClain) passed away peacefully at Gordon Hospital in Calhoun, Georgia on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017 after a decline in her health following several strokes. She was nearly 81.

Born Dec. 13, 1936, in Winnebago, Pat graduated from Winnebago High School and worked as a secretary before marrying Dean Richard "Dick" More on Sept. 11, 1955. Dean's job as a salesman took the family across the country, living in such places as Oregon, California, and Texas before settling for many years in Indiana and later Tennessee.

Pat was a consummate homemaker and took great pride in practicing hospitality for friends and family alike in every place they lived. She was an active member of the ladies' Bible study in each church they joined and could always be counted on to minister to others in prayer and practical service. She will be missed for so many reasons but worth mentioning was the way she showered people with love in the form of hot coffee and food and by never being the first one to let go in a hug.
