Multiple schedule changes for BEA sports teams

Due to inclement weather, there has been a number of changes to the Blue Earth Area spring sports schedule.

According to thebigsouthconference.org, BEA's varsity baseball game against Maple River, originally scheduled for April 16 at the Fairgrounds, has been moved to May 12. Meanwhile, the boys and girls varsity golf meets against St. Peter slated for April 16 have also been postponed.

Boys and girls golf against Martin County West, which were slated to take place at the Minn-Iowa Golf Course on April 17, have been moved to May 17. Varsity baseball and softball games against St. Peter, also scheduled for April 17, have been changed to May 8.

All varsity golf meets scheduled for Thursday, April 19, as well as varsity track activities on April 20, have been cancelled. Golf meets slated for Friday, April 20, at the Fairmont-Interlaken Golf Club, have been postponed.

Baseball and softball contests originally scheduled against Fairmont for April 19 have been moved to May 10. The softball team's April 21 tri-meet at Medford High School has been postponed to May 19.

The Blue Earth Area boys tennis match, originally scheduled for April 10 against Luverne, has been moved to April 23. The softball team's road contest against New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva, originally slated for April 3, has also been changed to April 23.
