Delavan - Charles Oliver Willette, age 77, of Delavan, died Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at his home.

Visitation time was 3-5 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth and one hour before the service at the church. Funeral services were held on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at 2 p.m., at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth, Father Peter Klein officiated. Burial will be at a later date. Chuck was born March 23, 1941, at Winnebago, the son of Weldon and Teresa (Schimek) Willette. He graduated from Delavan High School in 1959. On Nov. 28, 1964 he married Lucille Marie Fausch at the St. Johns Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Lucille Willette, of Delavan; children, Joel Willette, of Watertown, South Dakota, Janel Willette, of Carmel, California, Karmin (Steve) Corkery, of Chanhassen, Chuck (Cindy) Willette, of Stamford, Connecticut, Jenae Willette, of Mankato, Jake Willette, of Blue Earth; brother, Dave (Eleanor) Willette, of Maple Plain; sisters, Mary Willette, of Bloomington, Barb (Mike) Zins, of Waconia, Terry Fleetham, of Edina, Janet Janicke, of Coon Rapids, and seven grandchildren.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; sister; Doris Schroer; brothers-in-law, Robert Schroer and Alfred Janicke.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) or SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
