The Blue Earth Area wrestling team traveled to Cottage Grove to participate in the Park Wolfpack Duals on Saturday, Dec. 8. The Bucs were the only Class A school in the tournament, which was made up of six Class AAA schools and one Class AA school in addition to BEA.

Each team is placed in a four-team pool and the format is round robin, meaning you wrestle each team in your pool. Your record from your own pool competition determines which team you will wrestle from the other pool in the placement round.

BEA opened the day with a 46-21 loss to Hastings. The Bucs then defeated Park 41-31 and Eagan 38-28 to come out of pool play with a 2-1 record.
