NOTICE OF HEARING

ORDINANCE 155-2019

FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE

CITY OF WINNEBAGO

The City Council of the City of Winnebago will hold a public hearing for the purpose of discussing a proposed Ordinance. The ordinance adopts a model ordinance provided by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. The Ordinance provides the general regulations for development in areas located in the floodplain, addresses potential conflicts with other City Ordinances, delineates permitted uses, provides provisions for variances, regulates nonconformities and outlines penalties for violations. A complete draft of the proposed Ordinance is available for review at City Hall at 140 S. Main Street in Winnebago during normal business hours.

A public hearing will be held on the 11th day of June 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Winnebago City Hall, 140 S. Main Street, Winnebago, Minnesota. Your public input on the matter is welcome.

ORDINANCE NO. 19-05

CITY OF BLUE EARTH

AN ORDINANCE FOR THE CONVEYANCE OF

REAL PROPERTY

OWNED BY THE CITY

OF BLUE EARTH

The City Council of the City of Blue Earth do ordain as follows:

SECTION I

That the City of Blue Earth owns certain real property located in the City of Blue Earth, County of Faribault and legally described as follows:

A tract of land in Lot 1 of Block Four of Young's Addition to Blue Earth City (now City of Blue Earth) and also in the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, all in Section 17, Township 102 North, Range 27 West in the City of Blue Earth, Faribault County, Minnesota described as follows:

Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 1 of Block Four of Young's Addition to Blue Earth City (now City of Blue Earth), Faribault County, Minnesota; thence South 88 degrees 40 minutes 00 seconds West (assumed bearing) along the south line of Seventh Street a distance of 60.00 feet to the East line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 17, Township 102 North, Range 27 West; thence continuing South 88 degrees 40 minutes 00 seconds West along the south line of Seventh Street a distance of 22.40 feet; thence South 1 degree 19 minutes 04 seconds East parallel with the west line of Main Street (formerly Valucia Street) a distance of 50.00 feet; thence North 88 degrees 40 minutes 00 seconds East parallel with the south line of Seventh Street a distance of 21.87 feet to the East line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter; thence South 0 degrees 41 minutes 46 seconds East along the East line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter a distance of 0.33 feet to the westerly extension of the south line of Lot 1 of Block Four of Young's Addition; thence North 88 degrees 40 minutes 01 second East along said westerly extension of the south line of Lot 1 a distance of 10.55 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 1; thence North 1 degree 19 minutes 04 seconds West along the west line of Lot 1 a distance of 10.33 feet to a line lying parallel with and 40.00 feet South of the north line of Lot 1; thence North 88 degrees 40 minutes 00 seconds East parallel with the north line of Lot 1 a distance of 50.00 feet to the east line of Lot 1; thence North 1 degree 19 minutes 04 seconds West along the east line of Lot 1 a distance of 40.00 feet to the point of beginning. Subject to easements on file and of record in the office of the Faribault County Recorder.

SECTION II

Michele M. Greimann and David J. Greer are desirous of purchasing property in Section I above and the City of Blue Earth is desirous of selling such property for a sale price of $1,000.00 and other good and valuable consideration.

SECTION III

Pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 412.211, the City of Blue Earth is hereby authorized to sell and the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to convey the property described in Section I of this ordinance to the purchaser upon payment of the purchase price.

SECTION IV

This Ordinance shall not be effective until thirty (30) days after its passage and publication.

NOTICE OF HEARING FOR PARTIAL ABANDONMENT COUNTY DITCH #17

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Faribault County Board of Commissioners, sitting as the drainage authority for County Ditch 17, pursuant to Minn. Stat. 103E.806, subd. 3(a), shall hold a public hearing on the petition of Andrew J Linder and Todd L Olson to abandon the following described portion of County Ditch 17.

Branch A: Commencing at Station 12, a point 720' west and 500' north from the SE corner of the SW4SW4 of Prescott Township, Section 32, heading northerly 850' to its intersection with the CD17 open ditch at Station 21.

Branch B: Commencing at Station 2, a point 520' west and 230' north from the SE corner of the SW4SW4 of Prescott Township Section 32, heading easterly 500' to the intersection with the CD17 open ditch at Station 7.

The hearing shall be held at 11:30 a.m. on July 2, 2019 at the County Board Room, Faribault County Courthouse, 415 North Main, Blue Earth, MN, 56013. All interested parties may appear and be heard.
