Approved agenda of February 19, 2019. 4. Hire Jacob Peterson as full-time Deputy in the Sheriff Department. 5. Approved Resolution 19-RB03-06 supporting the City of Blue Earth’s pursuit of Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) funds for the reconstruction of Rice Street and 17th Street and will act as the city’s fiscal agent for the project. Commissioners Groskreutz, Loveall, Warmka, and Young voted yes. Commissioner Roper was absent. 6. Motion failed to purchase a Bobcat T650 for $58,699 with an option to extend the warranty later. Commissioners Warmka and Young voted yes. Commissioners Loveall and Groskreutz voted no. Commissioner Roper was absent. 7. Approved advertising for CP 19-600-01 for seal coat oil, CP 19-606-06 for crack seal, CP 19-600-09 for micro-surfacing, and CP 19-600-10 for striping. 8. Authorized payment of $2,145 to Empire Pipe Service for tile inspection services per contract on CD 21. 9. Approved request of L. Rebuffoni to attend a 3-day MN Assoc. of County Feedlot Officers annual conference in Marshall and K. Smith to attend a 2-day EMT refresher at Bricelyn. 10. Approved payment of the following bills: Auditor warrants totaling $1,504,126.24; ACH-EFT payments totaling $570,552.04; and audit/auxiliary totaling $822,853.35. Approved 60-month rental agreement on state contract 84340 with Metro Sales on a Ricoh IM C4500 copy machine in the Extension office at a cost of $218.50 per month. 5. Accepted annual feedlot report. 6. Approved Resolution 19-PZ02-07 for a conditional use permit to Chris Schumann to sell and repair agricultural related equipment in Kiester Township. Commissioners Groskreutz, Loveall, Roper, Warmka, and Young voted yes. 7. Approved Resolution 19-PZ03-08 for a conditional use permit to RMGarry Properties LLC and Ulland Brothers, Inc. for material storage and processing of asphalt and concrete from I90 for the 2019/2020 construction season in Jo Daviess Township. Commissioners Groskreutz, Loveall, Roper, Warmka, and Young voted yes. 8. Directed Planning and Zoning Administrator to prepare a motion to move to a five-member Board of Adjustment. 9. Motion failed to accept a quote for two mowers from Kibble Equipment for $15,745.66. One other quote was received from AP Service for $15,200. No state contract is available. Warmka abstained. 10. Accepted quote for two mowers from AP Service for $15,200. Warmka abstained. 11. Approved advertising for CSAH 12, 15, and 63. 12. Approved advancing $30,000 to the Faribault-Martin County Transit Board to be paid back the end of May 2019. 13. Approved Resolution 19-CB-09 the findings and order for CD44 Redetermination of Benefits. Commissioners Groskreutz, Loveall, Roper, Warmka, and Young voted yes. 14. Approved requests of D. Fellows to attend a 2-day MCHRMA/HR meeting in St. Cloud, T. Elmer to attend a 1-day Tactics for Courthouse Violence in Stillwater, and D. Fellows to attend a 1-day Safety & Loss control workshop in Mankato. 15. Approved Resolution 19-CB-10 supporting funding to Minnesota’s statewide transportation system. Commissioners Groskreutz, Loveall, Roper, Warmka, and Young voted yes. 16. Approved request of J. Schmidtke to attend a 6-day National Association of County Veterans Service Officers training in Cleveland, Ohio. 17. Approved liquor license renewals for the Derby Inn, Minn-Iowa Golf Course, and Riverside Town & Country Club for the period of April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020. 18. Approved payment of the following bills: Auditor warrants totaling $16,758.45; ACH-EFT payments totaling $911,822.79; and audit/auxiliary totaling $418,010.84.
